maybelline tattoo brow review

Hey guys, so today i'm reviewing the maybelline tattoo brow.

this product retails for 12.99 i bought mine from superdrug and is supposed to....

Wake up to evenly-filled brows!
Our 1st easy peel off lash tint with up to 3 day wear.
For fuller natural looking brows.

It comes in three shades dark blonde, light brown and dark brown.

so i bought the light brown as my hair is ginger at the moment, as you can see from the picture above my normal eyebrows are so light ,sparse and barely visible. The price is quite steep but if it works and lasts for that long its great! it was quite hard to get a good shape on the eyebrows at the tip because its a big brush, i would say practice makes perfect.

It says leave on from 15 minutes to two hours, so I left it on for 2 hours just to get the full effect. it peeled off really easy and didn't take any of my eyebrow hairs off phew. I will say the colour of the light brown is very warm toned, which is great for me as i'm ginger but not sure for brown hair so maybe go for medium brown and then leave it on for a little less time if you don't want it super dark.

Honestly though i love this product, it made my eyebrows look so full and natural and paired with a brow gel looked amazing , i don't know about you guys but sometimes doing my eyebrows is an absolute chore lol it takes so long and especially being a mother i don't have much time so this is perfect for me .

I went to sleep and woke up in the morning with my eyebrows still in perfect shape!!!! wow
i also tried washing them off with water and wipes did not budge so would be great in the rain or on holiday in the sea or pool, with a cleanser they did come off easy and my eyebrows were still on three days later . so this isn't a gimmick it works. I then tried it again and it was so much easier and looks even better! like i'm actually so impressed ,way to go maybelline!!  everyone should try this!!

Mummy struggles 2

Hey, here are some more of my mummy struggles, from my everyday mum life.

1.telling your child to do something a hundred times. Honestly this is one of the most annoying things about kids lol.

 2. Trying not to get angry about number 1.

 3. Trying to be like the perfect mums who take their kids loads of places and have tons of energy, thinking how do they do it so you try and do it but in reality me and the kids end up being lazy and just staying at home! πŸ˜‚ not all the time but you get me.

 4. Wanting to get absolutely drunk with friends, But then thinking God got to get up at 6 with the baby, is it worth it? Probably not.

 5. Doing online shopping, putting all the stuff you want in a bag and never buying it, because you have bills and kids to pay for.

 6. Like number 5, but basically always wanting to go to a restaurant or buy takeaway because I'm too lazy to cook. Also it's so yummy πŸ˜‹ but not having the money, sad times.

I do love my kids and my life, these are a few lighthearted thoughts of mine, if you gave any of your own mummy struggles funny or serious let me know in the comments would love to hear. Amy xx

Favourite things :)

These are a few of my favourite things 🎢

 1. Favourite music - i don't have a favourite type of music, I feel like I like most things my playlists on Spotify are so random some days I'll listen to cheesy pop like aqua, spice Girls all sorts, and others hard rock like tenacious d or qotsa who are amazing, or r n b just depends what mood I'm in.

2. Favourite movies -  my most loves films are dirty dancing, die hard Bruce wilis fit! , 10 things I hate about you and cruel intentions, jurassic park. But I watch anything, my partner is a big Sci fi lover, superhero films so he always makes me watch all sorts. Which I love.
3. Favourite tv show - when I was younger my fave was the oc! Used to absolutely live for it, Netflix get it on there now πŸ˜‚ my other faves are pretty little liars, bobs burgers, revenge, Miranda, absolutely fabulous, green wing, the vicar of dibley, peep show.
Favourite food - Italian! 😍 I'm boring though when I go to a proper Italian restaurant I always get the same thing, garlic bread and cheese for starter, spag bol for main and chocolate fudge cake for dessert Mmm.
Favorite book - Girl on the train, absolutely loved this book read it so fast as it was that good. I also like the seven sisters books.

Favorite season - autumn, winter! Honestly what's better than getting cosy in a big coat scarf hat Oooo, getting to wear all black πŸ˜‚ , Halloween, bonfire night, Christmas and my birthday defo the best couple of months!!!!
Favourite shopping store - asos and primark! Love asos its soooooo good, been shopping there for years wish they still did kids clothes though.
Favourite place I've visited - bermuda, I lived there for over a year when I was little and I used to go all the time on holiday when I moved back to the UK. It's honestly the most prettiest beautiful place ever!! Can't wait to go back one day and take the kiddywinks there when they are older as the flight is ridiculously long! But other than that it was amazing. If you've not been save up and go.
Let me know some of your favourite things in the comments. Amy xx

Things I love about being a mum.

I've done a things that annoy me as a mum post, so I thought I'd do one i love as that definitely wins. 1. You've always got someone that needs you and wants youre help. 2. Unlimited cuddles. Now and again my baby jake will be like no get off me! 😁 but when he's sleepy he will just lay next to me and give me loads of snuggles. 3. When your feeling down they always make you smile. Jake is getting a really goofy personality atm, dancing funny and running round the room, singing, fake laughing πŸ˜‚ and it just makes my heart melt and whenever I feel a bit sad he always makes me happy 😊 πŸ‘ πŸ’›. 4. They actually enjoy the food you make. At this age he likes anything so I feel like a good cook even though I'm probably not 😁. 5. Going on days out. I love going on days out with my two children it makes me happy that they are having such a good time and because jake is only still a baby his face is priceless at things he hasn't seen before he's so confused like what is this what are we doing. But the same time he's loving it. 6. Watching siblings play. I love watching my two play together it's the cutest thing. They just live each other and that's great!! 7. Teaching them new things. When my baba learns something new that I've shown him I get so excited and try and show everyone and then he doesn't do it. Which I think is hilarious and I'm like thanks pal 😁.

Take that!

So I went to watch take that on Sunday the 18th or June, I've been a massive fan of take that for years!! This was the first time I've watched them and honestly the best concert I've been to in my life. When they tour again next year I'll be sat on my phone my tablet laptop trying to get tickets haha πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚.
So we had really good seats!! On the bottom level 3rd row. Tickets were expensive at 90 pound! But it's so worth it. They did songs from their new album wonderland and loads of old ones and they did kids which is my fave song!!! 😍 also can I just express how gorgeous they are! Howard took his top off and I was like shit your fine 😁. Also all saints opened for them, the were also amazing. They've not aged a day. So if you're thinking about going watching take that!!! Do it as I think the next one might be with Robbie yes!!!!!!!! 😍 also I love Robbie.

Things that annoy me as a mum.

1. People telling you how to look after your baby. This has got to be one of the most annoying things for me as a mum, especially strangers! I understand they are trying to be nice and that's great but sometimes it just makes you feel useless and I feel like why comment when you don't know anything. So one time I was in boots and my little girl was messing around running around the pram and banged into someone, I didn't shout at her I just said please stop that it's naughty and to apologise to who she banged into and the counter woman said she's not being naughty she's just having fun. I was literally like Omg, she made me feel embarrassed for telling my own child off for doing something naughty and it wasn't her place to do so. As mums it's our choice to do whatever we think is best for our kids. So in a nice way please think about what you say to other mums before you do so.
2. trying to be a perfect mum. There's so many rules about being a mum these days, that you can't do anything right, so stop trying. Watch the film bad moms, relate to it, have you time, don't feel guilty for watching your own TV shows or buying yourself some new clothes, you can be a good mum and do stuff for yourself a lot of mums get criticism for going out at night but people need to understand that as a mum it's a full time job and your allowed time off!
3. When people say money doesn't matter. This one Eurghhhh, I'm sure the people that say this just say it for attention to make themselves look better or don't have children. I understand not everyone wants to be rich but I'd love to give my children a big nice home and nice things and holidays and you need money for that stuff. You need money for everything nowadays. So stop lying to yourselfs lol πŸ˜‚ πŸ™ˆ.
4. Baby class cliques. So when I started to go to baby classes at sure start centres or other places. I realised it's sort of like being back in high school, alot of people in groups wouldn't talk to anyone other than their group, some people were nice some people just made no effort like I wasn't even there, even if I tried to make an effort, smiled, talking, which makes it hard because then you don't want to go, I made a few friends after a while and now I try and talk to people I see at classes and include them because you never know what could be happening in their life's and it's nice to be nice. So if you're ever at baby classes and you see someone on their own even the littlest conversation might make them feel more welcome. These are just some of my own opinions, I don't want to upset or offend anyone. Not everyone agrees on the same topics. Feel free to leave a comment. Amy xx

Keeping a baby/toddler entertained.

Hey guys, So sometimes I find it hard to keep my little baby/toddler entertained, when do you call a baby a toddler? Sounds so wierd they grow up so fast! he has so much energy and sometimes gets bored so I try to go to alot of sure start centre's, If you have any sure start centre's near you definitely give it a go they have so many good classes and you get to talk to people who actually talk back to you(like real talk) haha, at home he seems to get bored so I try to read him books and he's not that interested after one page, he loves watching baby jake and Peppa pig but i can't exactly let him sit and watch tele all day, he will play with his toys but gets bored quickly. I feel guilty like I'm not doing enough does anyone else feel like that. Does anyone have any ideas? Things you do with your little ones. If anyone is from the Manchester area can you recommend places to go that are good for 16 month age. Amy xx

Testing charcoal mask

Hey guys, So charcoal masks have been so super popular recently so I saw this one in boots so today I'm testing out the tea tree witch Hazel with active charcoal mask. Its by boots. It says it removes dirt, sebum? What Is sebum lol and impurities deep down in the pores, rebalanced oil to leave skin and purified with a silky touch with antibacterial tea tree oil and calming witch Hazel. The price is 3.99 and they have an offer of 3 for 2 at the minute.
It smells really nice actually and feels cooling on the face the colour is grey so you look abit scary haha, it's not a peeling mask it's a wash off mask personally I prefer as I don't want to rip my face off thankyou, so it says put a smooth layer over the face, avoid eyes, leave to work for 15 minutes.
So I left it on for 15 minutes and washed it off, now I have to say my skin does feel silky smooth like it says! My pores look clean so all in all it's a good mask, I like it alot, I've used it a few times now and although the tube only looks small you get 50ml it's Deffo going to last a long time and the price is amazing. So definitely go to boots and Yay I like it! check this out!! Amy xx

My first labour story, did I see a ghost?

Hey guys, So today I thought I'd share my 1st birth/labour story with you and it's a doozy. to you reading it probaly doesn't seem so bad as I make it out to myself. But suppose everyone is different. So I had my first baby when I was so young... 18, the whole pregnancy was fine, I didn't have any sickness absolutely nothing wrong everything great. So my due date was the 11th of July, so I was ready all prepared with my hospital bag in hand, ready to push this baby out. Actually I didn't have a clue what I was doing lol, so about 1 o'clock on my due date I woke up with some period pain like feelings, I waited it out for abit before I woke up my mum who I was staying with, so basically these contractions just kept on going throughout the day the joys! My friend came round and everytime I had a contraction I would walk round the room as it felt better, she would laugh everytime as I looked funny apparently, good moral support lol. I rang the hospital and they said wait it out for abit longer so I did and went to the hospital later that night, I was on my own in the night because you weren't allowed a partner to stay with you and I just remember bouncing on one of them big grey bouncy balls not sure what they are called. The contractions hurt so much that I could hardly sleep so I hadn't slept from the night before when the contractions started and then also now I'm in hospital I'm not sleeping well and my waters haven't broke yet so not a hell of a lot is happening down there, so the next day they decide to try and break my waters and it takes so long before anything happens, this was in the afternoon that they took me to labour ward, but I had to be strapped to the bed to track babies heartbeat, at this time I'm having gas and air and I'm practically high and have had no sleep so everything around this time is a blur tbh I don't remember loads which is so bad because you want to remember but it takes so much out of you. So the room is awful i was in, there was about 6 people in the room doctors nurses and students... Yes students. Seeing my bits and bobs, grosses me out to think about it now, so my mums in the room with my ex partner and I remember eating some toast and it literally tasted like paper because gas and air gives you dry mouth so bad. Now i do not remember this bit but my mum told me after the birth, So the nurse asked me if I wanted a drink and I say to her can I have some of that little boys pineapple juice? And apparently she was like what little boy and I turned and said to my mum that little boy over there has got some pineapple juice for me........ Omg there was no little boy there. Like who was I actually seeing and of all the things frigging pineapple juice?? . So that's abit freaky. that's random as hell, so anyway after all the juice business It was night and after having contractions for nearly two days it was time for that baby to get out of there. As they were monitoring the babies heartbeat with like a strap you but around your belly you can't move off the bed, don't know if anyone else has had this but the pain is much worse when you can't move, so then I won't tell you the ins and outs as I was feeling rather gross, I saw my baby girl for the first time and it was lovely I cried. Also how big Is the bath they expect you to get in lol biggest bath ever, Then I had to go and get stitched up lovely and no word of a lie I fell asleep in the stirrups while the nurse sewed away, how embarrassing. then I went back to my room and bathed and fed her and a couple of days later I went home and thought to myself nope never again...
Hope you enjoyed, I'd love to hear your stories good or bad. Leave a comment. And check out my other blogs. Amy xx
